One of the most important attitudes, or should I say – the most transformative one to have is: the attitude of gratitude. When you are down and out … and you feel it all ….if you can, remember gratitude….even for feeling what you are feeling. One of my favorites: gratitude for water – for drinking, and morning showers 🙂 wow. But if I start going – it seems there are millions of “things” to be grateful for – I would never stop, only to sleep. The trick is to remember the attitude, to cultivate it.

It even has now been studied – Gratitude has been linked to better health, sounder sleep, less anxiety and depression, higher long-term satisfaction with life and kinder behavior toward others. A new study shows that feeling grateful makes people less likely to turn aggressive when provoked.
